Narrative
-
- Pit F304 was circular shaped with shallow sides and cut 0.50m into the natural. The fill of this pit exhibited charcoal staining as well as heat affected clay, fractured stones and 11 fragments of. The charcoal and clay were concentrated at the base while the large-sub-angular stones appeared to have been delineating a circular structure such that they may have been used as packing. As such the pit likely represents the remains of a burnt post.
