Our excavation is taking place right in the heart of Springwatch territory – at the world-famous RSPB Minsmere.
We’re digging 13th-18th and 20th-25th September 2016. While we’re on site, we warmly encourage you to come and visit, have a look at what we’re doing and ask us anything you like about archaeology. To find us, all you have to do is:
1. Get yourself to the RSPB Minsmere Visitor Centre…
It’s pretty easy – it’s halfway between Dunwich and Sizewell, there’s a car park, and a lovely cafe.
2. Follow the signs…
The lovely team from RSPB Minsmere have created a trail, showing exactly how to find us.
3. Approach with confidence!
We’re archaeologists – we don’t bite… unless you’re a cookie! We love what we do, and nothing makes us happier than sharing our finds with everyone! Come and find us and we’ll be delighted to tell about the Medieval archaeology we’re unearthing right in front of you!
