Day 7 – Spindle Whorl

FANTASTIC FIND… A spindle whorl. We think it’s Iron Age (those dimples are typical of the period), but you can check the Dig Records for more info and finds.

Day 2 – First Find

First find of the dig! A little piece of pottery that we think is probably Iron Age or Romano-British. It’s coarse, and blackened on one side. Check it out on the official Dig Records. Nice one Nick!

Day 4 – Finding Potsherd

Potsherd – probably Iron Age – found just outside the house, and plenty of it.
