There are many questions that remain unanswered following the earlier excavations at Victoria Cave. We’re hoping to answer many of them with our excavations at a site near to the cave in August 2016!
We are crowdfunding the dig, and working with local groups, to ensure that everyone can be a part of it, at whatever level of participation is most comfortable. There will be plenty of free activities and opportunties to visit, as well as ways to get more involved and be a part of the action.
Everyone who contributes to the crowdfunding campaign at any level will be able to follow the dig online, or join the team for a day, a weekend, a week depending on the level of contribution. There will also be free open days and tours for those who just want to come and have a look.

Places on the dig team tend to go fast, so if you’re interested in getting really hands on with cave archaeology, we recommend that you get in quick, and sign up to our newsletter for more opportunities to get involved.
